Dustin grew up in the South Okanagan and has promoted the area since he was young. Having spent years living in Ottawa, Edmonton and Vancouver, he always knew he'd end up back in the sunshine. He and his wife Amy consider themselves extremely lucky to live in such a beautiful area. "We don't take anything for granted. We've both lived in other parts of the country and hands-down there is nowhere else like the Okanagan. The year round activities, amenities and emerging cultural scene are putting this valley on the map."
Having worked as a high school teacher, communication analyst, and marketing specialist, Dustin has a unique skill set and diverse work history. He believes that pushing your own limits is the best way to find out what motivates you. "The most important thing I've learned in the past 10 years is just how powerful it is to spend time on your relationships with others. We have a natural tendency to experience human connectedness and belonging and it is a beautiful thing if we can learn to let our guards down and be ourselves."
Dustin loves the challenge that real estate brings every day. "Things are different every day but the focus remains the same: finding solutions that best fit my clients' unique needs. When you believe so strongly in what the area has to offer, it really comes down to finding the right niche for your client." Dustin personally invested into the downtown Kelowna area 4 years ago and since then has thrown himself into real estate. When he's not playing hockey, tennis or hanging out at the beach with Amy, you might find him at a City Hall keeping up-to-date on current developments in the area.
Tyler grew up in Calgary, Alberta. From the age of 12, he and his family would travel to the Okanagan for summer vacations and sports tournaments, where his love for the area and lifestyle grew. After meeting his wife Laura in Calgary, they moved to Toronto to pursue their careers. When the opportunity came to relocate, they knew exactly where they wanted to settle and raise their family - Kelowna.
Tyler has a substantial trades background, with 9 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician and extensive house renovations on flip and income projects. He and his wife also spent time as General and Operations Managers at an historic boutique hotel in the Niagara region of Ontario, and oversaw several areas of maintenance and renovation. It was during his first house flip in Calgary, from mortgage approval to closing, renovations and construction, and then finally selling, that his love for real estate was solidified. Over the years, he saw a disconnect with realtors he interacted with and observed, and decided he wanted to become a realtor to give people the kind of experience he would want. He firmly believes that a commitment to strong communication, integrity, and industry knowledge, as well as a passion for Real Estate and helping others succeed are the key ingredients to being a good Realtor. It is Tyler’s desire that his clients leave a transaction feeling that the best possible outcome and experience was achieved. He desires to create friendships, partnerships, and above all a sense of community through his business.
Tyler is inspired by his wife Laura. “Her tireless work ethic, and passionate faith constantly push me to be better.” Tyler has three children and loves spending time with them playing sports and enjoying all Kelowna has to offer. “Being a good parent is a role I embrace, and having my family has given me a whole new appreciation for life, and counting my blessings each and every day. We want to make an impact in making the world a better place, and giving back to the community is a big part of who we are.”
The ‘Kelowna North’ brand was developed as a combination of Kelowna’s busiest and most central neighborhood; Kelowna North. The bear logo is a reminder that ‘Kelowna’ derives from an Okanagan language term for "grizzly bear”. The bear also plays homage to a legendary piece of local artwork by Brower Hatcher, which can be found in Stuart Park.
